What interest and fees are associated with AMX Money’s short term loans?
There is no interest charged on AMX Money short term loans. A once off 5% fee is charged on all AMX Money short term loans.

^ back to topI’m a discharged bankrupt, so I have a bad credit history, can I still get a loan with AMX Money?
Yes. AMX Money has flexible lending guidelines to help any customer overcome financial difficulty. We provide loans to customers who are:
- unemployed
- ex-bankrupt
- self-employed
- a sole parent pensioner
- lacking financials
- subject to previous defaults.
How long does it take to get a loan with AMX Money?
Once we have all the required documentation and a completed application form, we will assess your application. You will receive a response regarding your application within 30 minutes, unless outside AMX Money operating hours.

The loan amount depends on the information provided by the customer (in particular the customer’s ability to repay the loan). As a general rule, repayments are limited to 30% of the customer’s income over a two month period. The final decision however is made by AMX Money National Office.
^ back to topHow long do I have to pay back my loan?
Generally, the due date for repayments is your next payday. The final repayment date however depends on the size of the loan and the customer’s credit history, with the maximum term being 62 days. Call 1300 AMX LOAN or visit your nearest centre to discuss what timeframe would apply to you.

Loans must be paid in full by the due date. Repayments can be made by cash or cheque; directly at any AMX Money centre, at a Commonwealth Bank branch or direct debited from a nominated bank account. Your nominated bank account will be direct debited on the due date if repayment is not received prior to that time, unless an alternative repayment option is arranged.

Contact us on 1300 AMX LOAN immediately if you are having difficulty repaying your AMX Money loan. Your nominated bank account will be direct debited on the due date if repayment is not received prior to that time, unless an alternative repayment option is arranged.

Yes. There are no penalties or fees associated with repaying your loan early.

Both your contact details and bank details must be kept up to date. Contact us on 1300 AMX LOAN or simply visit your nearest AMX Money centre to update your details.
